Get To Know Darlin Designs:

Darlin Designs is an in-store and online art design studio owned by Julie Lanata. In 2010, Julie started creating her own home decor items for friends, family, and teachers. She was determined to create a storefront and online store where everyone could shop her designs.​

 

Each and every item reflects Julie's vision of a unique and classic seaside design. Julie is passionate about making art designs custom and available to fit every budget. At Darlin Designs, the hope is that you can always find an item for any occasion!

 

Meet Julie, Darlin Designs Owner:​

Julie is the mother of Daisy and Marlin, and that is where the store name, Darlin, was created. Julie grew up in a small coastal town in Massachusetts, where she gets a lot of inspiration from incorporating a beachy style into her pieces. Julie has a degree in interior design, which has led her to create custom mosaics, repurposing furniture, and, of course, designing her art pieces. As a busy single mom and artist, Julie began creating ornaments and night lights for gifts for her children's teachers. Through Julie creating items for teachers, she found her passion and hoped to one day start her own business to sell her artwork. Julie launched Darlin Designs as a platform to share her art with her audience as if she were sharing it with her family and friends. Darlin Designs opened its doors in 2023 in Cohasset, Massachusetts. You can follow Darlin Designs on Instagram @Darlindesigns.shop.
